We hope you find it useful and informative. This website offers information and advice to the community of South Yorkshire, including visitors to the region and to businesses on South Yorkshire's preparations for - and responses to - major incidents and emergencies.
There are links on the site to all the partner agencies who form the South Yorkshire Local Resilience Forum, which comprises of South Yorkshire Police, South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue, the Yorkshire Ambulance Service, the four local authorities of Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield, together with the Environment Agency, Strategic Health Authority, Primary Care Trusts and other partners.
The Local Resilience Forum works in partnership with a wide range of organisations - private, public and voluntary - within the region and across boundaries, to ensure that information is available on all aspects of emergency preparedness.
