Voluntary Agencies
The voluntary sector provides the LRF with vital and essential support, both in planning and during an emergency. The value of their assistance should not be underestimated. Examples of the support offered by the voluntary sector include:
welfare; social and psychological aftercare; medical support;
search and rescue; transport; communications;
documentation; training and exercising.
